Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair with lightweight durability and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's lightweight and also freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines into an almost flat position and there is a large canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability? Yes and with a carrycot.
Good suspension and air-filled tyres will handle rough terrain well. You can also use it to jog. However, three wheel pushchair must wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This light pushchair made by Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will appreciate. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat, and a choice of a car seat, meaning you can have everything you need in one place.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's simple to see why it has received such high praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg and it's super-easy to put together. In fact I was able to complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a lovely wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. There's a good amount of room in the basket too, and I love the fact that it comes with a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your phone and keys safe!
The handlebar is a bit low, which could be a problem for parents who are taller. But, it's covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, so it's still a breeze to push with bags and children in your hands!

The Runner is made for sporty parents who can't wait to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on forest and field trails. The front wheel can be locked and can be swiveled to increase the flexibility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and a front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips, while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you take a break. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate dad or mum's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels that provide a smooth ride. The front wheel is lockable for more stability on narrow streets and crowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Also the locking system (requiring two buttons either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than other strollers which means it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms however, overall it's a sturdy and versatile stroller that's worthy of consideration for families with active kids.

Created to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis comes with shorter wheel length, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. The large, puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in size are able to handle different terrains. They also come with a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air in if you need it this is a nice touch. It's slightly larger than most pushchairs, yet doesn't feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it across bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric is machine washable and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I was comfortable using it in busy urban streets. It comes with accessory points, so you can attach parasols and footmuffs and also changing bags as well as snack trays and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it's not particularly waterproof.
